On July 3, Prof. Mitsuyuki from SORIC delivered a presentation at AVEVA INSPIRE Engineering Day entitled “Connecting the Value of Design Data to Production: The Role of BOM and BOP in Next-Generation Shipbuilding.”

The presentation introduced the concepts of Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Process (BOP), which are gaining increasing attention as key technologies for improving productivity in the shipbuilding industry. It also discussed how effective utilization of design data can contribute to more efficient production processes in next-generation shipbuilding.
